About Us

My name is Lee Salmon and I have been involved with and competing with dogs since I was a kid. I participated in 4-h and did competitive obedience then as an early twenty something started my career competing with retrievers in the field games along with hunting with them during the season.

I have been training dogs of some sort for over 40 years and have been training field dogs for over 30 years. I have achieved QAA dogs in field trials and titled dogs at every level of the retriever hunt test game along with training literally hundreds of hunting companions of all sorts of breeds from the retriever breeds to the pointing breeds to the spaniel breeds.

I have fallen in love with the Kooiker breed and along with doing some conformation stuff and odds and ends am really focused in getting this wonderful breed better known in the field. Their keen intelligence, good prey drive along with a desire to be with their human makes this breed a good bet for a working field dog.
